Kawasaki-shi, Japan, April 6, 2021 – Toshiba Carrier is a joint venture between Toshiba Corporation and Carrier Global Corporation in the Japan-based air conditioning industry. Today, the corporatin is pleased to announce the launch of the group’s new plant in Europe.
The 17,700-square-meter factory is situated in approximately 37,000-square-meter land and manufactures commercial AC, heating, and air-to-water equipment for Europe. Toshiba Carrier now has six HVAC equipment manufacturing bases, including this new subsidiary in Poland, two in Japan, and one in Thailand, China, and India.
The air conditioning, heating and ventilation sector (HVAC) in Europe is constantly evolving and subject to compliance requirements for more energy efficient products to ensure that the environmental goals set by both the European Union and each country are met.
The new plant specializing in the production of heat pumps and air conditioning systems for commercial applications with high energy efficiency will meet the needs for heating and air conditioning solutions that contribute to environmental sustainability.
